While the media still milks the chattering and snarling between theists and atheists, most people are bored by this show, and many have quietly moved into a more productive position. Growing numbers of people don’t particularly care whether or not there are gods since, even if there are, they don’t seem able to do anything in our world. If they’re omnipotent, they appear to be indifferent to the small and large-scale wars, tragedies, and slaughters around us. If they’re impotent, who needs them?

  1. In my opinion, to think God cannot intervene in our world simply because he does not is to jump to a conclusion. Even to think that God is a being with the same sort of consciousness and capability to intervene in a physical world is jumping to a conclusion. When thinking of any sort of God, considerations must be done in the most broad and vague sense of the word.

    If there is no proven intervention, and we have no reason to believe that God has the consciousness and capability to intervene in a physical world, then we have vitiated every possible proof of the existence of a god. That is why I am ignostic.

  2. Tree of Happiness

    Either people believe there is current or people believe there is no current,

    knowing the current is religion, knowing the use of current is science,

    believing and not believing both are philosophies.
    science is the microscopic vision for atom .Religion is the unified vision for at om.

    Religion and Science are two ends of one chain.
    Religion in short is like sea where,all the rivers of different philosophies could merge to have a same level.

    All the religion which exists in the name of religion are philosophies,natural love which exists without name is religion.

    Love is our inner wealth ,seed of which we bring in our closed hands to plant in this to make it a

    “TREE OF HAPPINESS”
