Could be. I couldn’t find the statistics for squamous cell upper respiratory tract carcinoma. However, the incidence of lung cancer per 100,000 in Florida, where I live, is about 72, which works out to about a .072% risk (about 3/4 of 1%). Since, according to the article, squamous cell upper respiratory tract carcinoma is much less common, I don’t expect to change my use of incense.
